Overview:
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second, and third-party audits of environmental management systems, in accordance with ISO 14001 and follow guidelines from ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable. Upon successful completion of this course delegates will be qualified to satisfy the training requirements of an auditor for ISO 14001:2015.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Understand the purposes of an environmental management system, environmental management system standards, environmental management system audits and third-party certification
Understand the role and responsibilities of an auditor in planning, conducting, reporting and following up on an environmental management system audit.
Determine the evidence needed to demonstrate conformity to ISO 14001:2015

Demonstrate the activities involved in preparing for an audit
Establish and plan the activities of an audit team
Manage the audit process
